Heather is prominent name in the Canadian jazz audience, both as a singer and a radio host. She hosts the Sunday afternoon show on jazz vocals and vocalists on JAZZ.FM91, the Toronto-based all-jazz radio station. Native of St. John's, Newfoundland, Heather is a past graduate and current Faculty member at the University of Toronto Faculty of Music. As a professional musician, Heather has shared the stage and recorded with some of Canada 's greatest Jazz talents, including Phil Nimmons, Kenny Wheeler, Guido Basso, Peter Appleyard, Rob McConnell, Carol Welsman, and the Beehive Singers.
